Charles is a driven talent strategy consultant with a track record in building and scaling Technology recruitment practices. During his previous six-year tenure at a multinational recruitment firm, he was trained to deliver 360° specialism recruitment across multiple seniority. He was one the key drivers as the firm transformed from a start-up into a corporate, during which he consistently delivered value-added solutions in both contingency and retained partnerships across permanent and contract positions. Charles has also been recognised as a consistent biller with a high level of return business in the region. He has had a successful track record with major international institutions as well as SMEs across a broad range of APAC locations, including Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia.

Carrying on this momentum and having seen the strength & pitfalls of different approaches, he has co-founded Mavence Group in 2020 to incorporate his belief into redefining what it means to be a recruitment expert. He has in-depth knowledge within the technical & leadership space across multiple digital and innovation verticals, with a personal specialty in Software Applications, Operations Engineering & Data Analytics across a broad spectrum of industries including Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Logistics, Retail, Real Estate and Emerging Technology sectors.

Prior to recruitment, Charles completed his education in the UK, with a Masters Degree in Management from WBS, and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology also from the University of Warwick. He speaks Native English and Cantonese, with business fluency in Mandarin.                                                                    



Carmen is an energetic and inquisitive HR & Operations professional who came from an all-rounded background working multi-functional roles in both large-scale enterprises and start-ups. As a fast and detail-oriented learner, she has successfully played key roles across human resources, talent research, administration and compliance. Currently as a Research & Operations Director, she is heavily involved in performing niche talent research and supporting the recruitment partners of Mavence Group, whilst overseeing the overall finance and compliance operations of the business.

She has been consistently recognised as an organised and proactive individual who constantly exudes a positive energy; and she constantly strives to push for excellence in all aspects of operations within her coverage. Being one of the co-founding members of Mavence Group, she fully instils this commitment towards maximising efficiency in all non-sales related processes. Along with a versatile approach to research, she is well equipped to identify passive global talents with niche skill-sets through online and offline channels, overall enhancing our network of reach in meeting the needs of the APAC region.

Prior to her career, Carmen completed her education in the UK, with a Masters Degree in Marketing and Strategy in WBS, and Bachelor in Management and Business Administration in the University of Reading. She is a fluent trilingual across English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
